MCP server and AI clients

What the PageCRM MCP server is

This section explains how PageCRM MCP lets approved AI clients work with CRM data through controlled tools, resources, and prompts.

The PageCRM MCP server is a controlled bridge between PageCRM and AI clients that support the Model Context Protocol. It gives approved AI assistants a structured way to search contacts, read customer context, create notes, update records, and prepare communication.

The public MCP guide is available at /mcp-server, the machine-readable text document is available at /mcp.txt, and the structured manifest is available at /mcp.json. Those pages are safe for public AI crawlers because they explain capabilities, not private customer data.

Key points

  • MCP access is intended for approved AI clients and internal agents.
  • Private CRM data requires an authenticated MCP bearer token.
  • AI crawlers should use /mcp-server, /mcp.txt, /mcp.json, /llms.txt, and /llms-full.txt for public product context.
