If your provider can be connected through supported automation, that reduces manual copying and lowers configuration mistakes. If not, manual DNS setup still works as long as the records are added correctly.
The release page is the right place to check whether Cloudflare, Hostinger, or other provider behavior has changed before you assume an older setup flow is still current.
